KISS in Houston, Tx. 12/05/2009

It was huge.....at least for me and my girlfriend. A couple of middle aged people who have probably seen every band in the world except for KISS. Great show, great seats, excellent company, and the show wasn't half-bad. Song set was stupendous and Gene Simmons is 60 +/- and still has stage presence. As for the energy.......eh! Paul Stanley was amazing in his presence and that his vocals were as spot on as could be. Of course it would have been a complete package with Ace and Peter there but I guess that's how it goes. I will mention this.....the drummer was too much. Way over the top. I'll give him an "A" for showmanship but that's about it. The Ace poser was about as exciting as Ace himself. Just standing in the back and waiting for the lead breaks. All in all the show was great and I'm glad I had the opportunity to see them live before my time was up.
